I love waking up in the morning and have my coffee while scrolling my inbox. I’m not too fond of spam, no one does, but I do enjoy reading newsletters, trends, and the latest tips and tricks on whatever I’m into.  Just like me, there are lots of people who read newsletters and tips. Come back regularly because I update this page constantly.

Useful emails provide value and build relationships, so if you want to grow your email list, upgrade your A-game with content, a clean template, and a call to action.

If your “subscribe now” or “sign up” doesn’t make the cut anymore, it’s time to kickstart your email marketing campaign with inspiring eye-catching opt-ins that leads to that treasured email and conversions!

That is what you want, conversions, opening emails that lead to sales. So, you can still place a paper sign-up sheet on your sales counter or every time you have an event. However, if you are a mom starting a business from home, well, catching emails the good old fashioned way will be hard, especially if your kids use the sign-up sheets for coloring practice.

Whether starting or having a stable business, building an email list should be priority one in your digital marketing strategy,

The email provider that I recommend, especially for moms just starting am business, is Constant Contact for three reasons:

They offer a 60-day FREE trial, that is really free, no credit card on file in exchange for the trial version. In those two months, you’ll be able to try all the features they offer.

Easy to use, a drag-and-drop feature that makes our lives a bliss. You already have so much on your plate. You don’t need extra tutorials on how to make your newsletter look impressive and professional. Constant Contact does that for you with jaw-dropping templates.

They give you data that means something for your business. No jargon, upfront good info to make business decisions. You can track your open rate, the best time of the day to send an email, mobile vs. desktop, bounce rate, links clicked, A/B testing. Real good stuff.

Ready to grow your business? Start with 60 days of free email marketing.

I used to have my email service provider with MailChimp,  but after checking out and trying Constant Contact, I made the switch! Remember that I only recommend products and services that I use and love.

Best Tips on How to Grow Your Email List

I love waking up in the morning and have my coffee while scrolling my inbox. I’m not too fond of spam, no one does, but I do enjoy reading newsletters, trends, and the latest tips and tricks on whatever I’m into.  Just like me, there are lots of people who read newsletters and tips.

Useful emails provide value and build relationships, so if you want to grow your email list, upgrade your A-game with content, a clean template, and a call to action.

Here are my best for growing your email list:

  1. Your website is the first contact many people have with your business, use opt-ins to connect with your audience, and build a relationship.
  2. Include a call to action in your newsletter; that way, when your subscribers share your fantastic content, new friends can also sign up.
  3. Comb your database and personal contacts to share a few newsletters and ask for feedback. Once you have it, kindly ask them if they would spread the love with their contacts.
  4. Use a lead magnet to start a customer relationship with the right foot, give them something of value in exchange for their contact info. You don’t have to give away your secret sauce, but please don’t offend your customer by giving something they could have gotten access to anyway.
  5. Use Facebook Ads to add email contacts to your list. Instead of directing them to your home page, use a landing page to capture their information.
  6. Create exclusive offers for early-birds, promote sign-up to find out about upcoming news, sales, and announcements.
  7. Use a sign-up form on your Facebook page, encouraging fans and followers to join your mailing list.
